Information Systems Minor

The minor in Information Systems (IS) provides non-IS majors with the opportunity to develop valuable exposure to key areas of technology. It is a flexible, four-course minor designed to give students an opportunity to select IS courses in line with their professional goals. To earn the IS minor, all students take IS 200 - Foundations of Information Systems (3 Credits) , a course designed to help students gain a thorough grasp of the technology landscape and to develop their own perspective on the role of information systems in organizations and society. Students then select three additional IS courses-with the exception of the IS Internship and Capstone- that are in line with their own professional and academic aspirations.
